There wasn't much being written here. It's not that Aymen or I are too busy for it. We just don't have anything much to write. Everything is going fine with Ramadan giving more peace. A few things I think we all must know are:

# Muddasir will soon make a trip to Europe. He will inshAllah meet Major uncle there. He will be spending time in Amsterdam attending a meeting on child psychology.

# There was a good news I heard from Zeeshan bhai when he came to meet us a couple of weeks back. He will soon be a father.

# Atif bhai is working hard staying at his hospital. The last time I spoke to him he told me how he was spending several hours in continuity without any sleep. He will be the next to get marred in our family.

# There is a partial out-break of conjunctivitis in Hyderabad. Even Muddasir was infected.

# For those who are not aware of what Hyderabad has become: it takes two hours to travel from Koti to Tolichowki!

Danish had two important affairs to take care of staying in Houston - he is waiting for his letters from universities and also he had to take care of the fish at home which are into their third year as pets. Danish will be doing his Medicine in Caribbean. It would have been nice to have him here. Atiya will be in US now. She has holidays. Muddasir too will be here in Hyderabad in July inshAllah.

On Friday Irfan bhai told me that Zeeshan Bhai's marriage will be on 16th. Most probably it will be in GM gardens - opposite to Irfan Bhai's house. The function hall is still under renovation but it should be ready by 16th of July.

I am in good contact with Sarah baaji but I have lost touch with Ayesha baaji. Though we sometimes get to exchange a mail or two, we never get to chat. It has been long since I had chat with Muddasir. We have some offliners at times. Danish and Atiya are on Facebook. I have not seen Zeeshan bhai online for ages now. No e-mails too. The last time we had any conversation was when he was in hyderabad. My contact with Fareha aunty is through offliners sometimes. There are always nice mails she forwards to me.

Somedays back, I was just going through the old photo albums we've in the rack. It was like living those memories again, those were, I think one of the best times I ever had, the best vacation ever the time I started loving this place, the time I understood what a family I had(Alhamdulillah),from bullying brothers to secret plans on how to sell coconuts outside Doctor Uncle's house. July was the month I had always looked forward to until it was time that we had to come and live here from good. I was excited!, I would meet everyone, my first friends(my cousins) to the uncles and aunts who made you think twice before calling them uncle or mama.

I remember the time when it was Imran Bhai and Irfan bhai's marriage, the first marriage I ever witnessed, with ironed sherwani and the best saleem shahis,we were enjoying every bit of it.It was then I realized that how much more fun it would've been if bilal,danish,atiya,jasem,doc uncle could've come with us and enjoyed all of what we did. Sleeping after 3:00 am and then getting up around 1:00pm and shouting all over the house...sleeping at one place and talking like for hours together, with no worry of computer viruses, board exams, EAMCET or anything else.

It's time I think, that all of us are going to re-live the old memories, this July is going to be a month to remember...after two reminiscent paragraphs, I'll write about what all we have to look forward this July in Hyderabad, and what we'll be missing this time.
There'll be the much awaited Zeeshan Bhai's marriage this July, after like two months of bride hunting by mummy and pinky baji...the bride has been found, and agreed too.
The girl's mom was mummy's math's teacher, they currently reside in Salarjung colony...just opposite Doctor Uncle's house, and the girl's younger(est) sister is Zubair's batch mate.

Who's Comming?:Zeeshan Bhai(of course),Saleem Uncle,Hamza(who arrives here a week early, travelling alone),Toto Aunty,Summaiya,Khadija and Omer,Muddasir(from Kyrgyzstan),Doc Uncle, rana mami, bilal and jasim, also to join us from Riyadh are Imran Bhai, Asma Bhabhi, Amaana and Areeb and not to forget hashim bhai from Bahrain.

And We Miss?:Danish and Atiya,atiya apa,enju uncle,sarah baji and family and also aisha baji and yamin bhai.

I think that sums it all, we'll be also joined by Baby Aunty,faraz and atif bhai and also Sharmeen didi from karimnagar...hope all of us have fun and enjoy every bit of the marriage.

I am quite excited about Zeeshan Bhai getting married. It will be after a long time that we will be the dulhey waley. Its going to be fun but at the same time I will be a little busy with my college and CAT. I even have campus placement process in the days ahead. Presently I am doing an internship at Genpact. That's enough of me.

I have been in continuous contact with Jasir and Aymen. As usual I spend time in front of the computer till 2 am at least. Today I got to talk to Atif bhai too. It was sweet that he called me up. He will be coming to Hyderabad on Monday and will join a hospital here for his DNB. That will take at least 2 years of time from him.
I somehow lost the thought that even Sarah baaji was writing a blog. Today I read it. It is always nice to read what my people write. I write a lot about myself so much that I neglect others. I will miss Sarah baaji and Ayesha baaji a lot in July when Zee bhai gets married.
I spoke to Shaad a few days back. We even had a plan to meet last Saturday but couldn't. Maybe inshAllah someday soon we will catch up and spend some time. Faraz of course has become a busy guy. He is busy preparing for his exams that are scheduled for July. It gives me a pain to hear that it will be difficult for him to make it to the wedding. He has his exams until 16 th of July. He can manage attending the Valima maybe.
Last Sunday Irfan bhai and Hanna bhabi came over to our place. It was nice playing a little with Batool and Ibtehsam though it was for a very short time. I am looking ahead for Toto aunty's visit and even Imran bhai's. Doctor uncle is scheduled to arrive at 10:30 pm on Friday and inshAllah we will be there to receive him. He was hear five years back.

# Ayesha Baaji and Yamin bhai made a trip to New York and I have seen their pictures. They are wonderful.

# Sara baaji and Fareed bhai are thinking of starting a call center here in Hyderabad. They have asked me to get some information. I have made a few inquiries but couldn't find any good success. Anybody having anything to tell on this would be welcome.

# I met Irfan bhai a few days back. He came to my house with Ibtesam and Batool. MashAllah Batool is speaking some small words. They sound sweet.

# After many days I had a chat with Aymen. We spoke on discrete things and as always, the chat was critical! Not everybody can understand that. :D

# I have also seen the pictures Muddasir mailed me - the ones he took in Cairo. They are amazing too.

# My theory externals start on 25th of this month and the five exams are stretched till the 18th of the next month. I will be traveling around 70 kilometers on each of these days to go to a college named MVSR to write these exams.

# Aymen is done with his exams and has holidays now. Jasir is into his lab externals.

# It was a hot day here in Hyderabad today. The showers could hardly help with the soaring temperature. But the good new is that mangoes have begun to arrive.

# Hyderabad has become a dangerous place for small children with stray dogs becoming a big threat. The municipal corporation is on its heels but I see reports of children being bitten by these canines almost daily. Infants too were the prey on a few occasions. Pictures in the newspapers are several times more descriptive with the seriousness than what I can explain here!

A Casual Update

Ayesha Baaji is expected to reach Gulbarga on 3rd of January for the first time with her husband, Yamin Bhai. They are also expected to come to Hyderabad on 2nd - for a very special reason: Atiya Aapa gave a gift to Ayesha Baaji along with some card; Atiya Aapa gave a similar thing with a card to Ghazaala Aunty's daughter when she got married a few weeks back; she interchanged the cards by mistake. So Ayesha Baaji will be coming here to correct the mistake. This is what I have come to know just a few minutes back from Talat Aunty.

Talat Aunty also told about the visit Sharmeen Didi made to Jawad Uncle's house along with her husband, Amjad Bhai. Inju uncle brought them here.

Zehra Educational Trust is on a holiday. The 2 schools shall reopen on the coming Monday. The holidays were given after the Half Yearly Examinations.

Some days back Atiya Aapa paid a surprise visit to the schools. She had some interaction with teachers there and I guess everybody was satisfied and happy. It's only after Jawad Uncle and Pappa have taken over the schools that Atiya Aapa is getting to have such open and interactive visits. Alhamdulillah everything is going on fine. I am glad to be a part of this wonderful family. :~)

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah,

To start with,I hoppped in with Talat Mami and Jawad Uncle on the way to Surya Nagar,since Muds and Dad still had to get ready and they asked me to get in with Uncle and Aunt since we all wont be able to fit in an Auto(there's parking prob in Suryanagar,and autos are the best alternatives).

The Volvo(extremely comfortable),left at 9:05,me,zameer,osama and jasir sat in the last row.On the left seat in front of me was Muds and on the right Shaad and Zub.

A Telugu Movie-Athadu was played and it was real fun watching it with Muddasir's commentary(read translation).The movie was action,a bit of comedy and some drama.

Anyways,we had real fun on the way.It was musical(i feel guilty but anyways I can't lie but listened to a lot of music).Zub had his friends mobile,Jasir had his,Shaad had his N70 and Muds his ipod,Osama got some old cassetes and Zameer had a walkman.

We stopped for snacks at a Reliable Reliance Gas Station cum Hotel,where we had Dosa,Idli,Chai,and Upma.After which there was a photo shoot.All of us hopped back into the bus with fresh minds and better moods.

Jawad Uncle and Talat Mami sat with us in the back seat and we played Antakshri for sometime.When we got bored of this there was Osama who Snake Danced,and did loads of other things.We'll put all up very soon inshAllah.

We didn't stop anywhere in between except at some ancient ruins for toiletting.:D

We must've reached Guntur at 5:00 or something.I really liked the place,since it had all those Telugu boards and everything.As soon as we lodged in,we were taken to the Function Hall for lunch,where we had real fun.

I noticed that the women here sat on the left while the men on the right during the waiting time.And during the lunch time women and men sit opposite each other and have food.The food system here was what I really liked.The plates are of thin paper.And the waiters keep moving with vessels of food,and come up and serve whatever people want.Thus,theres no wastage of food at all.

Another thing that I liked in Guntur was that people here love and care about each other as well as there guests in there own way.For example serving food with there own hands.For some people it may seem cheap,but for me it felt really a good gesture.

I'm never fussy about either the food,or the lodging Alhamdulilah.

Alhamdulilah I met Ayesha Baji many times during the Walima and I was happy for this.I never got to spend much time with her,as much as Zub did.But seriously I'll miss her.She was the closest of all the Cousin sisters to me,and I'm happy about the fact that she came to me and spoke to about many things.She promised that she'd surely come online once in the USA.
Mazaak Mazaak Mein Shaadi Hogayi Ayesha Baji Ki.

Sadly Baby Aunty wasnt doing well,so our journey was a bit delayed.

She didn't get into the bus with us,since we'd be first visiting Ayesha Baji at her home.She lives in lanes' bylane and the walk was quiet fun for me.Most of the time I was with Arif Uncle's bro's grandson with me.He's a cute lil guy who bonded well with me.We need to cross Chinna Bazaar which is a vegetable market there to go to her house.

One thing,once in the house I tried to spot Red,which is what the new bride usually wears.But I was wrong.Ayesha baji was at home already.Normal as she can be.Welcomed all of us with a smile.We were treated to some cool drinks and after which Ayesha Baji herself served us kheer.

Ayesha baji and Yamin Bhai got in the bus with us,back to the hotel where Ayesha baji met Baby Aunty and Baby Aunty got into the bus.

I could see Ayesha Baji crying for the second time,this time I had to see her crying from the window bus.And all I could ask her was "Ayesha Baji aap rorey?"(Ayesha Baji,are you crying?").She asked me and Zubair not to tell anyone,seriously there was no time to,once they saw Ayesha Baji I had to bear the combined weight of Osama and Jasir(39 and 60 roughly)and I left my weight on Zubair.

The return journey was extremely boring.The scenaries were really beautiful though.I didn't enjoy the journey at all.Except for our favourite game-Osama Bugging.Osama entertained us with some really superb dance perfomances.

We then stopped for lunch,at a village Hotel.I had always wished to see the Village Culture in India and this was one place which made my wish come true.Some us first tried to search for public urinals,but in vain.The hotel was anyway a cool new experience.You pay Rs.22 and eat as much as you want.There were some people who tried to act sophisticated,,but ended of eating the same thing.The menu consisted of Rice,4 curries,round pappad,pickles and sambar.I ate to my fill,I always enjoyed food that was unusual in some way.

The rest of the journey was sleepy,and silent.We reached Suryanagar and Tahaari at the apartments.After which we left for our homes.

1) Pinky baji, Hashim Bhai, Osama, Nabeela and Madiha ... they are all here in Hyderabad. Pinky Baji is looking for a school for Osama and company!!!

2) The sad demise of Zafar Uncle's mother: she was ailing from cancer and was undergoing treatment at Indo-American Cancer Hospital. May Allah bless her with Jannah.

3) Muddasir should be here on 14th. Though it is not confirmed, but it is most probable that he would be here on 14th. He is here to attend Aapi's (Ayesha Baaji) marriage which is scheduled on 21st.

4) Ayesha Baji, Arif Uncle and Baby aunty are already here. They are staying at their apartment at Surya Nagar. Sadly, I haven't met them yet since they come to Hyderabad on Sunday. I am waiting to see them. There is some function arranged on 20th in some function hall at Mehdipatnam (unconfirmed), and the Valima is on 24th in Guntur. Atif Bhai and fanno (Faraz) should be here on 18th (uconfirmed).

5) Me (Zubair ... :D) : Wasting time ... end of semester; so I have a few holidays! Doing very few things including writing, not sleeping much, reading occasionally, going out a lot - friends, shopping ... blah blah blah ... !!!

6) Hunaid chacha and Fareha aunty too are in Hyderabad. I am waiting to meet Raheem uncle.

It's been long since I have written anything for the blog. Even Aymen couldn't. So, I thought I need to put something just to make it clear that the blog is still active and things are running.

The month of Ramadan passed away and came the Ied-ul-Fitr. It was a great day for most of us but unfortunately I couldn't meet everybody here. We just met Iefan bhai and Jawad Uncle. We missed Inju uncle by a few minutes when we reached Jawad Uncle's place. Mehdi Uncle and family was not home when we visited them. We even missed Dolly aunty. InshAllah will meet soo.

Less than 2 months from now we would be enjoying the marriage celebrations with Ayesha Baji getting married. She will be done with her BDS in November. We all hope to have a great time. Even Muddasir will be here in Hyderabad for 20 days I suppose. We will definitely be missing Toto Phuphu.

We are on a look out for a girl for Atif Bhai. Atif Bhai wants the girl to be a doctor. So, anybody knowing anyone may contact Baby Phuphu. We all know that Atif bhai is the smartest and the most intelligent of all the young poeple in our family. So, I need not mention about the qualities 'bhabhi' should have!

Deviating from the basic theme of this blog, I would like to write about a very big decelopment in Hyderabad. A new fly-over kind of road is being built starting at Mehdipatnam. It is supposed to be of around 11 kilometers and will end at the upcoming Shamshabad Airport. The airport is expected to start its commercial functioning in the November of 2008. That would just be the end of its first phase and the final phase would end in 2011. A long long wait to see the awesome Greenfield Airport in Hyderabad! It will be worth it.

I am putting here a few pics showing some models of the airport. I do not know if this thing is really going to come up, ~~but everybody says so!~~

t was on August 2nd when I gave my last update. Its 6 days now after that. On 3rd it was my cousin sister's marriage in the evening and with my cousins I enjoyed every single moment. Contrary to the expectation, the function got over a little early - at 1:30 am. But it took a little more time for me to go to sleep. The next day though it was raining I went to he college at 12:30 pm. I had only 2 of my friends there and we stayed in the college till 2:30 pm. It was a friday and while performing the ablution I had removed my jacket. My shirt got wet and soon after the prayers I put on the jacket even while my shirt was wet. I suffered with fever till today morning.

The next day, Saturday, too it as raining and when I went to the college I found very few people and again there were no classes. I was back home by 12 noon. I went to my grangperants' house then. I spent the day without thinking much and trying not to wonder anything. I was fine.

Sunday morning I had to leave for Karimnagar to attend my cousin's reception. I woke up early, got ready and went to my uncle's house. It was from there that the hired bus was supposed to pick us up and take us to Karimnagar. I had almost all my cousins there except for a few who had to attend some other functions back in hyderabad.

More than half of the journey I sat alone in the bus. All my cousins and 2nd cousins were enjoying sitting in the back seats. They were shouting, singing, and enjoying the music that was being played. I didnt like to be with them and do all this. I found more happiness in being alone. Every now and then one of my cousins would come and sit beside me, ask me to come back, i would tell him that I would be there in some time, and he would leave. When Karimnaga was an hour away, we took a break at a dhaba. While getting in my cousin sister asked me to come back. I was there with her and another cousin till the rest of the journey.

We finally reached Karimnagar at 7 pm and by the time we entered the function it was already 9:15 pm. I spent a lot of time with my cousin brother who is a doctor. He told me several things about medicine in India and all the malpractices by college managements and the pharmaceutical companies. He shared many of his experiences with me. I was overwhelmed to know all that. We had a good time together. After the photo session we went to see my sister's house in Karimnagar. We finally left Karimnagar and I reached my home at 6:10 am. That was Monday morning. I slept at 6:30 am and woke up at 1:10 pm. I had no chance of going to the college. I also had fever.

On my journey back home in the bus, I was with my sister. We were surrounded by all our cousins who were dancing, singing and trying to do everything they could. I had some very nice talks with her even with this noice going on. She told me several things. She made me realise several things. She always makes me feel nice whenever we talk. Now she is back in Gulbarga. She is busy with her internship of BDS.

I didn't go to the college even today. I was feeling weak and my mother insisted that I should take rest. I spent most of the time sleeping.

When I gave my last posting here, I had forgotten that there are many people who are reading it. Many of my cousins read it and asked me what had happened that day. I called myself a 'moody idiot' and everybody understood in some worng context - not in the one I had intended to call myself that. There are things I can't expect them to understand, and there are things i don't want them to understand. I am better off unclear with all this. But when things go closer to speculation, I need to be a little cautious. I guess I will think twice before I write anything on this blog from now on!

When I was sitting alone in the bus on Sunday, and was not coming back to sit with my cuzns, they all started shouting 'blogger'. At first I didn't understand what they were doing. When I understood that it is 'blogger' they were shouting, I froze, and kept quiet. Somebody shouted 'he is not understanding', and they all stopped. I was relieved. But I felt nice in a way :D

I got an e-mail from Sarah Baji on July 11th - " Alhamdulillah we had our baby this Sunday 9th july. We named him Zaid Abdallah Mohammmed."

Well....the timmapuri family has a new guest...Ameerah's got a 2 lil bros now.Alhamdulilah everything is fine.The boy i suppose is still to be named.

Timmapur - Bagalkot District, Karnataka

When I gave my last posting on this blog I actually wanted to write about the name ‘Timmapuri’ – I got myself distracted with other data. Timmapur is the name of a village in Bagalkot District, Karnataka - it is not the Timmapur in Andhra Pradesh. And it was here that Mr. Syed Mohammed Abdullah Timmapuri resided.

The Timmapuri Background

Thank you Aymen for keeping this space running and though I have not contributed a thing you didn't mind that (I hope so!).

I found it is necessary to allow some explanation on the name 'timmapuri' that has been taken for this blog. 'Timmapuri' has been taken from the name of my great grandfather Mr. Syed Mohammed Abdullah Timmapuri who was an advocate working for the legal council of the Nizam of Hyderabad state.

To be frank, I still wonder from where the family name 'Hasan' has cropped in when none of my ancestors had it. Mr. Syed Mohammed Abdullah Timmapuri was the son of Mr. Syed Ghulam Hussain who inturn was a son of Mr. Shah Hussain. Mr. Shah Hussain is believed to have come to India from Iraq. According to the record I have, this personality does not have 'Syed' as his surname - even more surprising!

I would like to see myself getting at depth of my ancestry, but that will take a while, or probably a lot more than just a 'while'.

Shortly I will post the complete family tree.

hi.i hav visited timmapuri site.its really awesum n a v genious n unitin site.congrats aymen 4 that.but my complaint is that u didnt mention my name as sharmeen or ambreena in it.our relatives outside may nt understand u r talkin bot me.

Well..to start with some past...Ayesha Baji will be getting married by the end of the year.But before that we've didi's marriage on August 4.And we are expected to have fun though fanno may not be able to visit it.

Saleem uncle and family have arrived here and muddasir will be arriving here by 11:00 night.For some background info-He's doing MBBS from a country called "Kyrgystan",not that everyone knows about it.He's completed his second year and has ranked 7th in the whole university.

Update:Muddasir has reached here alhamdulilah,it was nearly 1:00 when his Air Deccan flight reached the airport.No big deal that it's 2:00 and he's still talking about his university,MCI and many other things
